Now booking flu vaccinations

In this video Practice Nurse Sophie Hayes, and GP Dr. Ajay, talk about why flu vaccination is important and how to book in with the Practice to get protected ahead of winter

Adults eligible for the free flu vaccination can now book an appointment at the Practice.

The flu vaccine is safe and effective and helps protect people at risk of getting seriously poorly from flu.

While flu is unpleasant for most people, it can be dangerous and even life threatening for some people, particularly those with certain health conditions.

People aged 65 and over, or 18 to 64 years in an at risk group – such as respiratory conditions like COPD, diabetes, heart conditions or a weakened immune system – can now get booked in.

Patients will receive a text with a booking link and can choose from clinics starting in September, taking place across our four sites, during the week and at the weekend.

The best time to have your flu vaccine is in the autumn or early winter before flu starts spreading.

Book online when you receive your text invite, or if you need assistance to book, please get in touch by phone.

Plans are being made to vaccinate patients residing in care homes, and patients that are housebound will be contacted directly to book an appointment.

Get protected ahead of winter.

Covid-19 vaccinations (updated 11/10/2023)

National supply issues are affecting Covid-19 booster deliveries.  Depending on availability, if you are attending the Practice for your flu vaccination, you may be offered the Covid-19 booster at the same time.
