My retirement from General Practice
Dear Tower Family Healthcare Patient
After more than three decades of being a GP in Bury, I will be taking my retirement at the end of March 2023.
It has been a real privilege to have been one of your GPs over the years. The past three years have been some of the most challenging times for us all, and certainly the most testing years that many clinicians will see during their careers.
To have been allowed to stand beside many patients through some of their most difficult periods has been humbling. It is truly inspiring how people manage to be so resilient and get through the toughest of times.
Now feels like the right time to step back and spend more time with my family. I’m very grateful for the kindness and support that I have received from patients over the years, and the interest they have shown in my life outside of work. My grandchildren are sure to keep me busy and spending more time with them before they start school is one of the main reasons the time is right.
Our team at Tower Family Healthcare is incredibly caring and work hard to provide our patients with the best possible care. No day is without its challenges, but it is a very rewarding role that always brings new opportunities. I’d like to thank you for the kindness and patience afforded to us all.
Once again, thank you for giving me the opportunity to be one of your family doctors.
