Dr. Kiran Patel is a GP Partner who is based at our Greenmount site, he is also Medical Advisor to the Board.
In addition to his role at the Practice, he is the Medical Director for Bury GP Federation and the Bury Integrated Care Partnership.
Dr. Patel has spent his entire career as a GP at the Practice, joining the Greenmount site in 1993. He has a special interest in dermatology and minor operations.
The parts of the role he enjoys the most includes getting to know patients and families over a long period of time, and, being a large General Practice, having the opportunity to work within a large multi skilled clinical team. With additional roles working closely with the Practice team such as physiotherapists and mental health practitioners, this not only offers more choice to patients but also brings additional specialist skills into the wider primary care team.
Outside of work he enjoys keeping fit, watching sport and is a lifelong Liverpool fan.
