The NHS App is available on iOS and Android. You can also access your NHS account using the NHS website.
To have an NHS account, you must be aged 13 or over and registered with a GP Practice in England.
What you can do with the NHS App
- Order repeat prescriptions and nominate a pharmacy where you would like to collect them.
- Book and manage appointments.
- View your GP health record to see information like your allergies and medicines.
- View your NHS number.
- Use NHS 111 online to answer questions and get instant advice or medical help near you.
- Search trusted NHS information and advice on hundreds of conditions and treatments.
How to get started with the NHS App
You can complete the whole registration process for the NHS App without having to contact the Practice, as the App has facial recognition software that uses your passport or driving licence as a way of identifying you.
Download the NHS App or alternatively you can open the NHS website in a web browser to set up and log in to your NHS account.

Messages via the NHS App
