Dr. Katie Whitehead

Dr. Katie Whitehead is a GP Partner who is based at our Tottington site.

She received her medical training at Fairfield General Hospital, originally joining the Practice in 2007 where she completed her training and has never looked back.  Dr. Whitehead is also a GP with a special interest in diabetes, working within the community diabetes service.

In addition to diabetes, she has a special interest in women’s health and family planning.

The variety of her role is what she enjoys the most along with providing continuity of family medicine for her patients.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and going out for long walks with the family dogs.
