Dr. Ash Boodhun

Dr. Ash Boodhun is a GP Partner who is based at our Minden site.  Having originally trained at Minden, after qualifying, he worked as a GP in neighbouring Bolton for several years, before returning to the Practice.

In addition to his GP work at the Practice, he also works as a GP with a special interest in dermatology, delivering a clinic in the community as part of the Northern Care Alliance dermatology service.

As a GP, his areas of special interest include minor surgery and dermatology, along with family planning. He is also involved in the training of new GPs, along with the annual appraisals for GPs from other towns.

The parts of the role he enjoys the most are dermatology and GP training.  Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and sports, including running, football and cycling.
