We were delighted to welcome Christian Wakeford, MP for Bury South, to our Spring Lane site in Radcliffe. Christian has taken a keen interest in our commitment to being an Active Practice – supporting both our team and patients to be more active and to improve their health and wellbeing.
During his visit, we talked about some of our Active Practice activities, including our team taking part in the Burrs Community Run, as well as the ways we support our local community. We also discussed some of the current health and wellbeing challenges facing local people.
It was a great opportunity to share our experiences of working in general practice, the challenges we and our community face, and our ambitions for the future to improve health and wellbeing for people across our local community.
